Children and extra bed policy
Children of any age are allowed. Children up to and including 2 years old stay for free when using an available cot. Children up to and including 11 years old stay for free when using an existing bed. Children from 2 years old to 11 years old stay for free when using an available extra bed. People 12 years old and over stay for € 22 per person per night when using an available extra bed. Any type of extra bed or child's cot/crib is upon request and needs to be confirmed by management. Supplements are not calculated automatically in the total costs and will have to be paid for separately during your stay.
Important Information
Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply. Guests under the age of 18 can only check in with a parent or official guardian. Please inform Danubius Hotel Hungaria City Center of your expected arrival time in advance. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation. A damage deposit of EUR 100 is required on arrival. This will be collected by credit card. You should be reimbursed on check-out. Your deposit will be refunded in full via credit card, subject to an inspection of the property. If you are traveling with children, please let the hotel know of their age prior arrival. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly with the contact details provided in your confirmation. For group reservations different policies, additional supplements and group handling fee may apply. Please note that a parking spot in the garage needs to be booked in advance. We are delighted to announce that the largest hotel in the country is being refurbished. The lobby of Danubius Hotel Hungaria will be given a new design. The refurbishment is starting on the 8th of April and it is expected to finish by 30 June 2024. During the reconstruction work to be carried out on the ground floor, however, there will be occasional noise and temporary traffic disruptions. We will continue to keep our guests staying at the hotel informed about these. We try to minimize any temporary inconvenience and offer our guests as much leisure as possible during this period as well.
